Default F23 with Darton F22 MID kit question

Darton told me that the F22 MID kit will work with my F23. If that's the case can I just use F22 pistons too?

you'll lose your VTEC effectiveness unless you use the F22B1 pistons.

I was planning on going with a low compression F22 piston for my turbo setup.

i think that the VTEC ones are 9.5:1, but my LX ones were 9.1:1 or so.

you going with an aftermarket piston?

the F22B2 pistons were not designed to be run with VTEC.

The F22 pistons will be aftermarket. So there isn't a vtec problem.

Wrong. The F22B1 and F22B2 have the exact same bottom end (except the B1 has an oil baffle at the oil pan). They are both 8.8:1 CR.

If you do this, you'll lose .2 in CR. Unless you could get aftermarket pistons, or if another F motor has 9:1 CR, that you could get the slugs from. Maybe the F22B or H23 pistons will work?

One more question. Will the F22 pistons fit in my F23 rods?
