Default 4th gen + Thermal exhaust questions

Hi - i've got a 4th gen SI and i'm looking for a good exhaust. The goals are:
* good power
* not too loud
* not ricey
I've done my search and found out that many people seem to like the Thermal R&D.
There are 2 variants: "classic" and "stealth". It seems that the only exhaust tip available for the 4th gen is a big "melon shooter" but i cant say for sure as the very few photos i've seen are tiny and of poor quality.
My questions
* does the 'stealth' provides good power gains ?
* is the 'classic' really loud ?
* is there a small dual tip variant (of either) for the 4th gen ?
* is there another exhaust that is *just as good* as the thermal and without that obnoxious tip
* can someone post a photo os his 'lude seen from the 3/4 rear or from the rear, with a thermal installed ?

Thanx

i'm using a Greddy SP exhaust... i painted the muffler black, cut the tip off and modified a 99 integra GS-R tip to fit it. looks pretty stealth and still sounds good!

I have a Thermal Classic for my 4th gen Si. I LOVE it. It is the best sounding exhaust for Hondas for the price. It is also made of stainless steel so it won't rust like Greddy.

The tip is not nice looking at all. I painted my canister flat black and left the tip chrome. It looks pretty stealth now. I am still not a fan of the tip though. It looks good when you look at the car from it's side...but kinda looks weak when you look at it from the rear. Oh well.

I love the way it sounds.

Hard to say if I got any power gains from it because I installed a high flow cat at the sametime.

Thanx for the replies so far.
AndyD: what do you mean by "looks weak" ? Too small ? Too big ? And yeah i've seen from other users here that they all love the sound, but how *loud* it is really from outside the car ? The police here is getting annoying these times...
Ah and i forgot: i'm lowered on Eibach Pro Kit. Any ground clearance issues to expect ?

I also love my thermal, sounds great and the looks do not scream RICE, I would think you would have many issues with gound clearance, it fits nice with a stock bumper (doesn't melt it or anything)
