i'd say get a revhard kit...or do what i did and piece together your own. this is my setup...spent just over $3000 and well worth it. i got everything i wanted and didn't have to settle with crap i didn't want.

Probably the cleanest looking kit out there. You won't be disappointed. Sure you can piece together your own kit and make more power but I've been through all that. Money for the Greddy kit was well spent. Didn't have to deal with the BS of things not fitting, etc.

you should look into custom kits, but if you are to go with an aftermarket kit, rev hard and drag are pretty good.

im running the drag III kit on my b18c1 in my 95 hatch and at 5 psi im making 235 hp. i love it my kit fit perfectly even in a civic, i didnt have to cut anything except shave my block down a little and thats it.its got the bling bling chrome intercooler piping and the hks SSV BOV and a delta gate wastegate. i will probabyl replace the deltagate with e tial unit but not for a while i am not spiking and the car couldnt be running better for drag III kit. oh yea i can also keep a/c

ive looked at the greddy kit too, but it looks a little pricey. then i found this kit on ht: https://honda-tech.com/zerothread?id=616770 the exteme kit (intercooled, 56% increase in hp) is what i like and for $2400 shipped that makes it appear to be a steal of a deal for a little quick revving turbo.

so... which is better? greddy or ^?

You had to Shave your Bock down a little for the kit to work ???? That sentence boggles my mind right there. And if you have no problems with the delta gate wastegate...then why put a different one on ? Unless you are changing your turbo, your manifold, porting everything, changing the downpipe, etc....i see no reason to go with a different wastegate...just because of a name.

Just my .02 oh, yeah, and ...shouldn't the be in the turbo forum ?

why does the Drag III kit make you engine blow? what makes it more dangerous to run then any other turbo kit?

Shaving the block isn't an uncommon thing, it depends on your turbo size, deck height, manifold, ect.... It only takes about 5 minutes to shave no biggie(it's only the webbing to the right of engine code) The deltagate is known to spike, thats a fact, the drag manifold has been known to crack, both facts. Lets say your racing your at approaching full boost and it spikes on your shitty fmu setup, good bye motor. So in other words the tial isn't just a name, it's not an expensive upgrade, ccompared to the price of a rebuild Its your choice

Some people think because DRAG uses the old school FMU and inline fuel pump for fuel management it is more prone to blow. I would have to disagree. My old integra back in day ran like a champ on inline pump and FMU for almost 2 years. That method seemed to work well for a lot of people then along came Hondata. I was boosting anywhere from 5-10 psi with lots of high speed runs (4th and 5th gear were my favorite). Never came close to blowing the motor.

The reason I wouldn't buy a DRAG kit is that the kit looks like **** with age. It looks like its been to hell and back if you happen to have the kit long enough. Plus I don't like the fact I have to shave my block to get the turbo to fit. Not my definition of a true bolt-on kit. The only shaving you have to do with the Greddy kit is with the fan shroud. The cutout is a little > looking cut. Other than that it fits perfect. If you go with a Greddy, Apexi, or HKS you can be rest assured you're getting a very high quality kit. You get what you pay for.

how much i gain.. well i didnt really get it to the dyno.. but from an actaul race..
i took a s2000 about 2 almost 3 car lengths from a stop and thats entering the freeway and then i stoped at 110 mph and letting you kno also this is on a stock exhaust my basic modes were

greddy kit with FMIC
greddy BOV
custom oil cooler
spoon thermostat ,fan switch , radiator cap
msd wires
copper plugs gapped at 32mm
timing at 13
oh also it was in my 4dr gsr
it also lets the tires go on first gear on 16'' wheels
not revving from a stop from a roll in first gear
