dont buy the Nitto 450s! I have them right now, and they are the worst ******* tires I've ever owned.
They dont grip **** and they suck in the rain. I've driven a car with bald tires that had better grip in the rain.

I agree with you. I had them previously & didn't like them at all. I now have Yokohama Parada-spec2 and these are 100% better than the 450's.

Best tires for what? I have the ziex 512's and they last long but dont grip for ****. If you want something with better grip and lasts long as the 512's get the kumhos

The Yoko Parada is a great street tire. Really aggressive with alot of negative camber.
Great street tire, but **** for AutoX. But AutoX tire is not what this thread is about.

in my opinion best overall based on price, life of the tire, and performance...def kumho 712's all the way!!!! ive had the nitto 450's and the azenies but i def prefer the 712's.
Nitto 450's= shitty...weak sidewalls and terrible wet traction
Azenies= great price...look phat, but really only good in dry weather
712's= def all around...great tread life..decenly priced...great dry/wet weather tire

none in my opinion, well maybe the dunlops(hell, they made the first tire). i stick with bfg and michelin. always have and always will. the comp t/a's in stock size are great for dry and rain and stick well in the canyons. artic alpins for snow. on the mercedes, pilot sport mx for summer and pilot alpins for snow. but, they are much more expensive than what your asking about.
The AVS ES100's are the best tires on that list. Better wet/dry grip than the 712's, but they sacrifice some treadwear. I have 712's, and they're ok for what you pay for them. My next tires, however, will most likely be ES100's, or Kumho MX's.

no doubt....going on 60K on a set of comp TA's in OE size. Quiet, grip well, and good poor weather performance. Best off all, Cheap at Sams

205-50/15 fit fine.

I've got the dunlops right now, and they grip nice when its dry, but they are not as good as some of the others in hard cornering. I get a lot of bounce that I didn't have with my falken 512s. not to say I liked the 512s, they didn't grip for **** in 1/4 but in the turns they are a pretty nice directional tire. I just got a set of the kumho712s to put on, which are the tires I am reccommending due to their lond treadlife and comparable grip. I think for best grip at the sacrifice of treadlife would be the azenis.
