The clearcoat on my G/Fs car is peeling away extremely fast. Just wondering if this is a common problem. Im waiting on the Honda of america Rep. to get to the dealership im talking to about this problem.. so we can get this thing painted. Its def. a factory defect, it looks like ***. So has anyone had or have the same kind of problem?

I have a 93 and a few little spots of the clearcoat are peeling off like near the power antenna, and a couple at the bottom of the door but nothing that anyone would notice without telling them. Honda Paint usually stays on the car. Good luck with the dealership but like the other guy said, how old is this car?

i am having a problem with my paint as well. i have 99 ex. The black paint on the passenger door towards the top is kind of rusted a little. then there are various other spots where paint is flaking off. anyone with help would be appreciated

 

Unless you're the original owner, I'd say someone repainted portions and didn't tell you. My 93 paint is cherry, except in the spots that were repainted.

 

new hondas have a 5 year warranty on the paint
