Default JUN III's will they wear down my B18C head

im looking into getting some JUN stage 3's for my B18C , but i have heard that they are so aggresive that they actually wear down the valvetrain. Is this anything to be concerned about or is it a minor thing.

They should be run on an upgraded valvetrain, ie stiffer springs, since the lift is higher than stock....

I hope you are not thinking of using stock vavletrain with these cams. If so then yeah it'll wear it down in about 5 minutes max.

With Jun 3's...those are nasty cams....you could mill the head a lil bit, that would bump compression.....but tuning is the factor.

But my question is, if you aren't running stock, then why the **** make this post???

The only thing I see could be wearing is the rocker arm assy., after awhile big cam lobe and stiffy valvesprings puts wear on the face of the rocker arm.

Again, this is what I've been told before. I'm not a engine builders (just stinky parts guy, lol) but have sold (why? don't ask me) brand new rocker arms in the past before.

Can any of you related to this?

No problems here. JUN3 kit and 80,000 miles and stock timing belt.

funny, i just got off the phone about 5 minutes ago, some moroon who moved from Miami to here, Sarasota (why?) is bringing his car in for service. Funny thing is, he has Jun 3 with over 50,000 miles, install at Titan motorsports last year. Bring it in for a major 60k maintences, can't wait to check it out, lol.

What are the odds of that?

Well, if he used stock springs the whole time, chances are you'll be swapping out those loose ones for something a lil stiffer....
