car painting
anyone ever get their car painted a different color?
I'm thinking about getting mine done
mine's the paradise blue, but i'm thinking of going for a charcoal grey or black
i definately didn't buy it for the color
any thoughts?

1. To change color makes it harder to sell later on. The engine bay with different color, etc.
2. EXPENSIVE. You have to paint at least the door jambs to match and this will add $$.
3. Yeah, I had a color change in my old Accord and I regret it.

actually, when i plan on doing this i'm gonna rebuild the whole car
i'm going to tear it down to nothing and get the entire thing done
probably gonna do this whenthe RSX R-type is available in the states
just so i have a backup

I'm gonna go to Gary Best in Maryland to get my white civic painted forest green like the new X5. He takes apart the car basically and paints each part separate. He even takes the engine out and paints the engine bay. I'm looking at about $5 grand in order to accomplish this. I have a civic hb BTW.
