LED's credible as illumination?
now i've seen led's as taillights and marker bulbs, but piaa has a pair of "driving lights" that use led's
these are much cheaper than their other regular driving light kits using conventional bulbs. so im wondering if they are any good?
i ask this because i've read articles about how led light is a different wavelength and they APPEAR brighter when they're LOOKED at. so based on that, i'm wondering if these are rice lights.
cliff notes:: these driving lights are cheap. form or function?

from my experience, most high-output leds are bright to LOOK at, however they dont offer much illumination (like if you're using it as a light to see things). so the above statement of "just for looks" would be valid in my opinion.
