coil or spring?
Sup guys, I have a 99 GSR and I was wondering if I should use springs or coilovers for dropping my teg taking by consideration that I would drive it during winter and jack it up. Do you think that I can use these springs or coilovers with stock shocks.
thanks, Matt

stock struts wont last long on coils with a big drop...
stay under an inch, and u'll be alright?
but if u live near snow- -i highly suggest coilovers-- you WILL love being able to jack it up!!

theres a difference between coilovers, and sleeve type coilovers. you are talking about sleeve coilovers. true coilovers replace everything including the shocks. My suggestion would be to put on sleeve coilovers and jack it up in winter. sleeves are cheaper, and work well. ive personally got Ground Controls with Koni yellows. they work awesome.
