Anyone with Tein SS on their Preludes?
hey, i wanted to get the Tein SS's but i want some info on them from people that already have it on their preludes. how is the ride? the feel? can you feel a big difference when you take turns or go handling with it, do you notice the feel difference or how much faster you can take turns at? thanks.
ive had them for like 3 months and im really satisfied. the ride quality is close to stock and it handles like its on rails. if you are going to upgrade suspension teins are the way to go.
i've had mines for about a year and yes, it's worth every penny. if money ain't an issue, get the type flex w/ EFDC.
i hit turns 20+ mph the speed limit without a problem. but the real fun is around the curves.
ATTS + Tein = Fun Driving
search in archives under "TEIN" for more threads.

well i go 20+ mph on turns around with just skunk 2's on right now but it depends on how the turn is and how big and so fort. but i dont know what the difference is btw the FLEX and the SS, i just saw the flex today and it said "coming soon" for the h22a's. i want to konw if you have tire hop on launch with the Teins cuz for the SH they dont make any shocks so on launch wiht just coils there is a lot of tire hopping. any info on that whether the teins prevent that?

The EDFC doesn't come with the FLEX. You can get the FLEX with OR without the EDFC.

the FLEX is different from the SS because it has teflon coating and the SS doesn't. which means, the FLEX doesn't rust.
EFDC is a digital controller that you mount inside your car for easy damper setting. instead of popping your hood and trunk to adjust the dampers.
for about $200, i say it's worth it if money ain't an issue.

difference: HA's have way stiffer springs. not as "streetable" more for dedicated track applications. SS's are more comfortable for DD, but can't meet the demands of serious auto-x'ers/road-racers because of spring rate. the HA is 16-way damper adjustable, the SS is 4...

Please check your info on this. AFAIK, all TEIN adjustable dampers have at least 16-level adjustment. The only exception is the N1 which has 20-level adjustment and the rebound and compression can be adjusted independently.
