Default Dyno Results....189.34 whp

I just got back from the Dyno.

189.34 whp
127.88 wtq

Graph is posted below

Overall, I guess I was happy with the numbers but wasn't happy at all with the knowledge of the tunist. After my first run he wanted to change my VTEC to 3800rpm, I laughed at him and told him no. It was previously at 4900-4600. We then changed the VTEC to 5700 and the low setting on 5400. This is where we found the best results with my power band (6k-8k range). The peak power was at 189.34. The power at the top of the graph as you can see is still wanting a bunch more room to use. I still have the stock redline (8,000). I am sending my ECU out in a few weeks to get the redline changed, this should free up some more power and also help me in the 1/4. So, after that the car should be above 190whp on ITR cams and the other work I have done. Also, the tunist didn't change ANY fuel settings. He just kept it there. I was under the understanding that they tune the VAFC (completely), haha. This guy just didn't know what he was doing with my car I guess. I am definately going to a different dyno/tune next time. Probably going to drive to New York and get it tuned with Greg (Cheetah).

If you have dyno graph experience could you tell me how it looks. Im always above 6k when im running the 1/4 so there is a good increase in power from there until 8k, which is where i wanted most of my power to come from. The ECU will help a lot.

Here is my setup:

Power Mods:
DPR Stage 6 Headwork
Type R Cams
Toda header 4-2-1
Skunk 2 manifold
Type R CAI
Kakimoto 70mm exhaust
Carsound Cat

Tuning Device:
Apex-i VAFC

Other Mods:
Fidanza Flywheel
Exedy clutch
B&M short shifter
Underdrive pulley

Valvetrain:
Oversized ceramic coated valves
titanium retainers
ITR valvesprings

Transmission:
ITR tranny
JDM 4.785 FD
Kaaz 1.5 Way LSD

Suspension:
Koni double adjustable shocks
Neuspeed springs
front and rear sway bars

Now I have cam gears coming in on thursday. So, those should help out. But I don't think I am going to use them until next season. I put the car in the garage in about 2 months for the winter. But I still have a good 2-3 more days where I can run the 1/4 at NED. I am planning on 13's.....we'll see on the 26th.

If you are near the LA area you should check out R&D dyno in the city of Gardena. They are very good. AEM uses there dyno to test out new products. They also get good on AEM manegment systems, and now how to tune them very well. Maybe if you visit them you will get the perfomance you want. I am in the proccess right now of getting my integra and building it up.

your biggest restriction.. cams!! your chocking with excellent port job and great header, cams will bring the needed flow! and some high compression should be in order.

Is it just me or are those numbers shitty for all the parts he put into his motor?

Your a moron. How much would you like me to dyno to the wheels on ITR cams? You know nothing about cars...thats your problem.

Everyone else, thanks for the comments. I have dyno videos too. So, you can hear the insane VTEC crossover. I just gotta get them onto the internet.

I don't have any p/s or a/c either.

also, the car has dpr stage 6 headwork. it would definately go nice with some of those stage 2 cams. but for now i am pushing to get more hp out of my current setup with itr cams. I still haven't put my str cam gears on yet, and then i have to dyno tune them. then, ecu work and another dyno pull with someone who can tune my VAFC correctly.
