I have quite a few cracks in my body kit... it's time to repair it. I bought a fiberglass repair kit from advanced auto. I want to know any suggestions on prepping the area to repair. Some of the cracks are pretty wide... about 1 inch.

This is the first time doing it... so I'm new to it. Thanks for any tips.
