Default *RSX TYPE S...JACKSON RACING SUPERCHARGER INSTALL PICS*

We just finished the install of a JRSC on a customers Type S. He went with the street version, for now. He already has the upgraded pulley and injectors and should be sending off his ECU to Hondata to get it reflashed soon.

I should have pics up of his car soon. He is real big into the show scene as you will see in the pics.

At I think 5.6p of boost....

46 peak wheel hp from a stock RSX depending on the dyno and modifications.
25-35 ft/lb torque increase between 2500-8700 rpm.
Peak torque now between 4000 and 6000 rpm.
Rev limiter raised to 8700 RPM (see valve spring tech information).
VTEC point lowered between 4000 rpm at wide open throttle and 5000 rpm at cruise.
Passes California smog testing (no measurable difference from stock).
Fully dealer compatible - works with all Honda scan tools and equipment

What if you have modifications?

We have tested short ram, cold air intakes, headers, test pipes and exhausts. The programs have been tested to work well with any intake, but a cold air intake is highly recommended. We have noticed that when using a short ram the boost levels drop by .3 to .5 lbs of boost.

Firstly, if a computer program gives you 15 HP and an intake gives you 15 HP then you will have 30 more HP? Right? Wrong! If this were the case and you added all modifications possible to your car you would have to stop every few days to drain the fuel tank from all the excess gasoline you were generating. In the example above you might get something like 22 HP instead of 30.

If you have nitrous this program will probably not be suitable due to the aggressive ignition advance used.

i have been running the Jackson Racing/Hondata race-charger set-up, for about a week w/out problem...the car is great to drive, even in total downpour..i'm running the car w/ the jackson headers and a cold air to the ground...it is so quiet(no intake noise, just blower wine!) and faster than i would have ever thought possible...i have driven charged b-series motors, this car was fast w/out the boost(14.2@98 on HONDATA / stock tires/exhaust) ...now(we'll see!) i hope to have the 1/4 mile times done by this week-end(before the season ends) so wish me well....
