Default B18A1 (LS) in 90 SI HB????

Can this swap happen and what is needed? I have just come across both for a good deal can they work together? Are their balance issues with the 1.8L what abot transmission and motor mounts? I have done a ZC swap so I have some experience?

Shopping list??

What is the HP, Torque advantages over the ZC

Yes it can be done you can use the ls tranny (cable) or you can buy a b16 tranny you need to get b-series mounts, shift linkage, axles computer and the harness if you can't modify your own the ls motor will be a noticable differance over your zc I think it is 140 hp correct me if im wrong someone

I was hoping to hear first hand from someone who has this setup and if it is "nose heavy". Yes I want the torque but I do not want to compromise handling. I just love the quick balanced feel that i have achieved and want to keep it in tact.

I've had this set up before and when you're doing a swap like this, of course, the B series motor is heavier than your old D so a bit of a compromise is expected. Nothing that a good suspension upgrade can't handle. If you're really particular about the balance, get your car corner-weighed after your swap that should help a lot.

I also suggest going with a b16 tranny. the longer gears in the ls make for compromised acceleration whereas the b16 has shorter gears and is better for it. torque + short gears = better acceleration= better qm times. i had a b16 tranny in my old integra and there was a world of difference.
then i got smart and bought my third ef si. SO HAPPY

Gee, that's news to me! Why didn't I feel it when I had an LS motor?

was it actually installed in a car?

my ls/vtec has decent torque with my full enterior (and then some) 89 4dr. wish i had a 84+ mm bore but the LS isnt too shabby.
