Default 2nd Gen Acura

Hi, my car got totalled last week and now im looking for a replacement but i dont have too much money to spend so i just found a rolling chassis of a 1992 integra hatchback and i was wondering if the motor of my 1990 acura integra 4 dr will fit on that car, cuz if it does i think thats the cheapest way to go.

Thanks

Same motor, different electronics. The 92 Integra will be using OBD-1 components and electronics so you'll need to use the components (ECU, distributor, injectors, etc) from the 92 on the 90 motor, as the 90 motor & car has all non-OBD components on it. Otherwise, same longblock but with different trannys (from 90-91 and 92-93).

can't do that here francisco flores, like Newman said he has to use the OBD1 equipment from the 92 and the block from the original car. it will never pass smog visually, stupid hippies, we're all SOL here in cali!

Nope, 90-91 Integras are OBD-0. 92-93 Integras are OBD-1. You can also use 94-95 Integra parts/electronics in a 92-93 Integra as well, as they're compatible. Likewise, you can use some CRX or 1st gen B16 parts in a 90-91 Integra as they're all OBD-0.
