deciding on getting a 02 HB for a very good deal..
but currently i have a 4dr 98 gsr turbo " greddy"
i love the gsr and all but iwas wonder what would you guys choose stay with the turbo 4dr gsr? or ge the 02 si hb?


can any1 tell me pro's and cos on the ep3

 

I think in the long run you would be happy you got the Ep3. I know that it is a whole lot of car for the money from the engine to chassis to the seat and interior its a great car. I am sure the GSR is very fast, but I know you can always make the EP3 as fast if not faster. Drop a turbo in and you will never look back. I recomend getting an EP3 getting 16inch wheel, then put some nice Progress springs or new coil overs like Tein, to make it handle well, then take care of speed with a short ram intake, hondata and then if you have any money left headers and exhaust. you'd be screamin then. take it easy...

Just one more question for you... how many miles do you have on the GSR, do you expect any probs with it in the near future, or is it running strong.

 

it just hit 70k miles and its stronger then ever... ive done a complete change on the maintenace .. such as cap rotor brakes sparkplugs timing belt blah blah blah thermostat fan switch radiator cap etc.. on and on and on

 

Well it really all depends on whether you need it or not. If it keeps you happy then just stay with it.

 

well basicly what im thinking is either getting the HB for 11g's with 3k miles dont ask why so cheap i got the hook up LOL anyways.. or stay with my 70k mile gsri am tired of the 4dr and all i think i need a change

 

What will you be doing with the GSR, selling it, trading in? I say get the EP only if you can afford to keep both cars. I bet you've poured your heart n' soul into your GSR and selling it wouldn't be worth it.

 

well i made up my mind.. i will be parting out all my stuff fro mmy gsr and trading my gsr hope it all goes well .. hopefully i can get an alarm, tein SS and wheels and tint for all the stuff im selling

 

i would keep the 4dr gsr.
