Weird front suspension noise..
I changed my MTF today, and after I put the car down from the jackstands I took it for a test spin and whilst it drove great (shifting seems the same, not the smoothest, but it got rid of my VTEC grinds which is why i did it) when I run over some bump, like a speed bump, an unusual noise comes from my front two shocks.. I dont see how this could be possible since I didnt touch the wheels at all.. They were just hanging down..
what kind of sound? how old are the shocks and how many miles do you have on em? maybe since you changed something on your car you were more in tune to new things and just started to notice you have front end noise.
Might be your springs didn't settle right when you lowered the car. If you have really short springs they may become loose and move around when the suspension is fully decompressed. When I first got my car the coil-overs that came on it did just that, everytime I raised it up I had to line the springs back up when I lowered it. Hope that helps!
