B18B1 Long Block....Timing Belt Broke....Help
Here's the deal. I know this mechanic that is selling a long block with the intake manifold for $100. The timing belt broke on it and might have caused some damaged to the valves and pistons. His customer brought another block for her car and now he wants to sell me the long block.
I'm sure this is a good deal for a rebuild of a B18B. Is it worth it to buy this block and rebuild it? If so, what will I need to get this thing in running condition (as in internals) assuming that the valves are all bent.
As for other parts, this is what I know I need for the B18B to go into my 94 EH2:
Engine Harness – $100-200
* Might be able to use stock harness
LS ECU – $100
Tranny (B16) – $300
Axles – $200
Shift linkage - $140
Distributor $150
Am I missing anything?
Am I better off just buying a complete swap?
Truely sorry for such a long post.

for 100 its deff a project. I would check the block over real good then send it to get sleeved. If you decide not to use it just sell it and make back what you paid or make a profit.
