What is the procedure for pulling ABS codes from a 94 Accord.
Where is the plug to jump and which light flashes the code and what does the 2 digit code mean.

Any info will help.

Grab a paper clip. Jump the blue connector under your glove box. Turn key on and off.

Long blinks are the tens. short blinks are the singles.

Someone confirm this.

Try a search too.

 

give me an example of a code ie. long blinks are 10's and short blinks are singles.

(if I have 5 long flashes and 2 short what does this mean? is it 52 or ? )

sooner or later when you do not come up with the answers yourself or understand what someone has written we must post a question so that a more versed person in the areas we lack the knowledge can assist us..

I actually did find that post a few days ago. It just isn't clear enough for me. I need more instruction. If I need to turn the key on then back off then on again will the ABS indicator flash the code? or do I need to turn the key on and of 3 times?

On some late models you can retrieve the SRS codes by jumping the ECU but you must turn the key on and off 2 times. Since things change and there are many variables. It seems logical for me to just ask the questions after several days of looking around. After all I want to fix this car in my garage then I will do more homework on other makes and models. I work on anything with an engine and they all have little tricks/workarounds that can be explained with a simple question. I am not trying to give anyone a hard time I am simply doing what I have always been taught to do.........when you need help ask....
