out of gas at high RPM's.. Not good for my motor!!!
I have a problem with my car (civic '96 w/b16a) running out of fuel after slowly bringing up the RPM's. It usually happens in 4th and 5th gear at 4-6grand. After doing some research I found that it most cases my fuel pump should be fine. I have a stock motor (K&N, MSD, P61?ECU) Could it be a dirty fuel filter? Anyone else run into this problem?

Probably set it a little lower than that, as the motor is pretty much stock. Maybe around 42-43

it's called Hwy Driving..
anyway; the problems isn't all the time.. only sometimes.. seems if I'm holding at a certain rpm for a period of time, then matt it, it'll happen.. going hard through the gears has no effect.. I know eventually I'll need to get a FP gauge to see what's happening, but just thought someone might have fell into the same situation..

Yeah, might as well replace the fuel filter. I have a friend that replaced his 20,000mi ago, and just had to replace it again. This on a 210whp all-motor car.
