Default Golden Eagle Electric Water Pump

Anyone seen this yet? Tried it?

ELECTRIC WATER PUMP

-Precision CNC machined from 6061T6 billet aluminum
-Frees up H.P. by reducing reciprocation drag on the engine ( adds approx. 3 – 7 H.P. from 0 – 10,000 RPM )
-Uses a long life 7000 hour ball-bearing motor
-Keeps motor within desired temperature range for consistent tuning. It can be switched on manually or with a thermo-switch ( manual or thermo-switch not included )
-Flows 32 gpm
-Less than 4 amp draw
-Can be purchased with the idler pulley to replace the stock water pump

APPLICATIONS
GWP100 ALL HONDA/ACURA B-SERIES ENGINES
GWP101 HONDA PRELUDE H22/H23 ENGINES
GWP102 HONDA D16 ENGINE

Well the belt driven one can break with out any notice too, but depending on where you install it (in line somewhere i guess??) you could monitor it easier

Mechanical ones are FAR more reliable than electical pumps. Mechanical pumps also regulate the engine temperature much better.

When we designed this pump, we designed it around making it more reliable than anything on the market. Although this pump is designed for race applications, it works very well with street apps. also. When used in conjuction with a thermo-swith ( from a local auto parts store for about $35 ) the pump can be turned on and off automatically at any given temp range. This helps to keep your tuning right where it is supposed to be. It is also a great way to free up some reciprocating mass giving "free" H.P. in return. ( approx 3 - 7 H.P. from 0 - 10,000 RPM ) It is also nice for the bracket racer that want to cool his motor down in the lanes without having to run the car. It can be put on a manual switch for driver dictated use. We will have a mount friendly version available soon as well as different apps. like H-series, D-series and others. The motor we use is a ball bearing 7000 Hr. motor which makes this pump one of the most reliable pumps on the market. It also draws less than 4 amps so it will not drain your battery!!! Anyquestions, please feel free to give us a call anytime!! (909) 592 - 4311. Thanks

This particular pump was designed with the race car and it's fabricator in mind. Anyone with some simple pab skills can create a mount for this pump. It was designed so that the fabricator can mount it any way he desires by making a custom mount for it. Our new STREET version will come with an application specific mounting bracket. It will be as easy to put on as it is to change spark plugs!!! ( well, almost! )

*clears throat* it frees up 3-7hp through the entire RPM band! IF it weighs anymore it will more than make up for it.

Maybe installing the new one . . . . But bypassing the original one is hardly a casual job, since it involves pulling the timing belt.

Does your pump increase flow ar RPM increases? Relating to power.
What is the current draw on the unit?

Have the switch mounted in parallel with a relay on the ignition. That way when the engine is on the relay is closed and the pump works -> and when the engine is off you are in "manual" mode.

so does the stock one that runs off a pulley run at faster speeds through the rpm range and if it does can you do that with the electric one or do you just put it on the therrmoswitch so it turns on and off to cool the engine inbetween that range. and if you use that will it cause problems heating up your car to that range or so you have both switches?
