Have anyone use Zex cams? I have a really good deal on these, wonder if they're worth it? Or should I save up and get Skunk2 cams. BTW, this is for a B series Vtec. Thanks, I have to give the guy a definite answer tomorrow.

 

I have no 1st hand experience w/ them, but IMO don't buy engine internals that aren't proven to be reliable. That said, I have not seen them or heard too much about them. Just something to think about, although I'm sure someone here will have first hand experience and can offer a better opinion.

 

Well how good is the deal.... I have zex stage 2s and there decent. But they arent skunks. They hold up just fine IMO, but im going boost, so if you want them, you can have em for $300.

i run the zex cam on my sohc.. its awesome great power band cam.. but... on the other hand i hear that the zex doesnt run as good on b series motors.. i would save up for the skunks.. or juns it u really wanna save cause i saw thoughs in action and i couldnt shut my jaw..

 

I ran the zex stage 2 cams for a while in my b16 and wasn't impressed i think the ctr cams where just as good, then i got some skunk2 stage2 cams and was night and day vtec was way much louder and pulled much better not tunned .
