Default Mini-minime

I am thinking about slapping a D16Y8 vtec head on my D15B2 block (CRX Dx)- (I may have access to a free one)Has anyone done this to a 1.5? Those of you with a typical mini-me swap (D16A6+Z6 head)- what has your experience been performance wise?

Also- will my header still fit?

yes my friend and i did a a6->z6 head, and one of my other buddies did the 1.5-> 1.6 vtec so it does work, your cylinder pressure will increse so u will ahve to use 91 octane and your gains i assume will be about 30 hp or so, i have yet to take my firends car to teh track and find out what it can do, but the car feels just as fast as my ls motor crx, except his car is completely gutted
