Default Choices, choices...where to buy?

A few options I have to play with. I can either get a B16 or a ZC. I was thinking more along the lines of a ZC since I don't have that much cash to play with.

The main question is, does anyone know where I could get my hands on a good, running ZC motor/ trans combo? I've seen most places that carry the motor but not the trans. I went to HMO, but they don't sell a complete change over as they do with the B-motors

Any help on this?

Thanks

I agree. I just got a b16 crx and I love it... I use to have a b18a crx (engine sorta resembles the ZC as in hp/tq #'s) and the b16 is just soooo much fun...

well, i bought my zc locally. the guy rebuilt the si tranny with a new clutch, resurfaced flywheel.

as for places to buy, try nippon-motors. also ebay sells zc motors but i don't know how reliable their motors or sellers are.

the zc is so more less hassle, and is just a direct swap and can use stock axles, mounts, tranny etc... and cost a hell of a lot less and you can use the saved grand to buy a nitrous kit and an exhaust and smoke the **** out a b16 ef any day. Have fun with traction though
