Default Body Shp Guys HELP!!!!!!!

Heres the problem I recently got some aircraft stripper on some plactis peice that i need to paint ...Its pitted all to hell and back and pretty bad . I cant replace this without spending alot of money how can i get it back to its normal smoothness and able to paint ? Just hand sand for hours ? what grit ? etc thanks

Ok dont flame they came with the car and they were black i sprayed my mirrors handles and Z3 Fenders . The plactic part the the actuall z3 air damn part ...Cant get a pic it looks like it might be salvageble but not sure ...ideas please ?

Aircraft stripper is ultra hardcore stuff...but I'm sure you have already found that out First get all of the stripper off the parts, then decide whether of not you can still use them. If they are pitted, I would start with 220 grit sand paper and work down to 600 grit and then use a couple of coats of primer to fill in the scratches. Good luck, try to post a pic if you can..

Fixed it today ...sanding the **** out of it with some 220 then used some primer/filler sanded some moe and came out almost like new with some imperfections! Thanks crxcess
