Motor from a 86 CRX Si
I'm going to be geting a 86 crx si but it needs a new motor. What is that motor called? How much do you think a motor would cost for this car? Does anyone have any websites that have motor prices?
I would say drop in a D16A1 from a 86-87 Integra. It has more power and is a relatively easy swap since you have a Si. There would be very little wiring changes to make. Also, you could probably find one for a low price, maybe $200~$300.

D15A3 - about $350 with tranny from a junk yard.

The 1G CRX Si motor is a 12 valve PGM-FI 1.5L, either an EW2 or EW3, I forget the number part, but the letter part is EW.
Try this link, they all the honda engine codes http://www.hondaswap.com
