WHat's up everyone? I have a 91 crx with a B16. Basically everything in the car is gutted out. Whenever I drive the car I smell exaust fumes and it hurts my head. I checked the firewall and exhaust piping to see if there are any big holes and I didn't see anything. Can you guys give me any suggestions or help thanks.

 

start the car and then look, you'll usually see something, plus you being gutted doesnt help

 

mine does the same, pretty sure it's running rich though.

 

i gutted my crx only from sunroof on back. Maybe it is the holes that are exposed when you take out the rear storage compartment. There are a couple of holes that you can see through to the pavement. I just put tape over these holes. but even when they were exposed I did not have any exhaust smell problems. hope this helps. You should drive with all windows down if this is still happeneing and try to find the probem.
