May purchase an S2000
I may sell my GSR and move up to a S2000. I just wanted to see if any of you guys have made the same move. Also, I was thinking the S2k was faster than it is. I drove one, and it was respectable, however handling is the true asset to the S2000. They have a yellow and a black one at the dealer. I was going to go for the black one, but then thought of a yellow one with a CF hood. Does anyone have pics of that? Also what are you guys running with say I/E? Thanks for the help.

dont bother with boltons, they just make the car sound nice. the only respectable header out there is the toda header. the aem v2 looks pretty respectable too IMO(but i haven't seen dynos of them). i personally am going to skip the n/a bs and get a turbo kit(with proper tuning of course, this is what makes a turbo setup reliable).
I went a from a Turbo Civic to an S2000.
Don't buy the car if you are very interested in Drag racing it, it's not a straight line car. Also, it isn't the fastest car on the road, and yeah you need to get it into VTEC before you see any good power (>6000rpms).
I bought the car cause I love Honda, Autoxing, and want some style/car I can go out to Essex or Mystic CT and feel like I fit in - LOL.

It definatly wasnt fast, and I dont feel like spending the money on a turbo kit. I just like the way it looks, feels, and handles. Speed aside, do any of you have regrets? My other options would be a WRX, or something of the sort.

Well, I took the plunge. Just purchased a 2000 Silver S2000 with red interior, and full OEM bodykit. I payed 21k and it has 17000 miles.

Well it just came in. All I have to say is WOW. VTEC is amazing, at first I stepped down on it and wasn't very enthused, 6,000 rpm and I was gone. Its amazing how much harder it pulls on the big lobes. Handling is night and day compared to FWD, its gonna take some getting used to. My only complaint, the door is alittle high, its hard to hang your elbow out.

This thing also smooth as could be, I threw the top up, and took her up into the triple digits, wow, it feels so stable. It isnt half as slow as I figured it would be, too many people say its all handling, no go, thats true until VTEC kicks in, then she starts to pull. Overall, I give it a 10 outta 10. Great car.
