New 03 owner needs help with new wheels.
I just bought an 03 silverstone and I want to put new 17 or 18 wheels on it...I have no idea how to tell which wheels I can and can't put on it. I think I am going to get the Volks but there may be a wheel that looks just as good and is as nice but may be half the price......Can anyone tell me what parameters I need to follow? Not sure how wide to go and I have no idea what offsets are. There are so many cool wheels but I have no idea if they will fit my car. Help
The seller should be knowledgeable about which wheels fit well on the S2000. If not, you can go to the Tire and Wheel forum at http://www.s2ki.com. Offsets are important - I believe most people use at least +50mm for good fitment. Also, remember to keep the wheels staggered.
Thanks S2Thizzle....that link rocks....thanks for the info. and the help. I had know idea that S2KI has so many posts. Thanks again.
Yeah S2KI is bad *** - you can get a ton of information from the guys over there. Oh yeah, congrats on the car and good luck with the wheels - make sure to post pics if you get a set.
