Painting my Passenger airbag cover, encounter paint problem. any ideas why?
In July 03 when I painted my passenger side airbag cover from tan to black, I didn't have any problem. It matched perfectly with the stock dash color. I cleaned it with water, masked it with newspaper, wet sanded it a little, krylon primer primed it, then use krylon Flat black interior paint 3 coats, and it came out beautiful. A few days later, I noticed that some of the edges that wrap around didn't get painted and it does show up if ppl look closely under the bright sun. Been busy so I ended trying to fix it last week(first week of sept). This time I didn't use primer, didn't wet sand, just cleaned the surface alittle, then masked and spray 2 coats of Krylon Flat black, It looked beautiful when it was wet, then when it dried I see spots or streaks of White HAZE in some areas, so I resprayed it again 2 coats, and again, I see White Hazes again in more areas. What did I do wrong?
