How are 98' up Accord rear seats held in place?
get a grip on the seat pad and put it out clean.. it's very easy.
it's only hold down by some plastic clips, make sure you dont loose or break those..they are like 25cents each

Before you start pulling up on it, there's a bolt you have to remove first.
The bolt is located in the crevice of the seat, just left of the seatbelts between the middle seat and the driver's side back seat. Once that bolt is out pull the front of the seat, I believe, straight up to detach it from the clips referenced by the poster above. The clips are all on the front edge.
Removing the bolt was easy, it was very difficult to get back. In fact, I never did get it back in when I installed my trunk mounted CD changer almost 5 years ago.
