jdm type s
It's a straight drop in, I'm almost positive that you don't even need to worry about the motor mounts. One suggestion would be to have a compression/leakdown test done and add a urethane bushing in the mounts. $5000 for the engine in good shape... you'd be better off with a 95 or 96 Type S. The only real difference is the pistons.. which add 20 HP
220 vs. 200 in a reg. JDM H22A
THe only thing that's a pain is the wiring.

BZZZZZZZZ wrong..
the diff with the newere type S engine is the cams, springs, ecu,TB ob,intake manif,
port polish head, raised piston CR to 11.0:1 ,header and exhaust
and the intake box is diff too ..
so it's not just the pistons

oh yeah.. the ECU is a P5P as opposed to a P13.
Type-S cams too
you sure about the port and polish ?
what's the size on the TB and intake manifold.. I thought they were the same?

Well since that's a JDM motor you shouldn't run into all the OBD I vs OBD II problems I did.
Fitment problems pop up (mostly with the motor accessories) for example I needed different axels and power steering pump and bracket.
