Tell me your thoughts on these future and current modificatins I have done to my teg???
Ok as of right now for looks I have repainted my entire car lexus is300 red and shaved the side moldings, emblems, and antenna. ITR wing, and 16" bronze c8's. For suspension I tokic shocks, h&r sport springs, ITR sway bar, front and rear strut bars. As for the engine I have a CAI, apexi n1 catback exhaust, fidana 7.5lb flyweel, and ITR clutch.
I have absoulty no power in my integra right now. I am running constant 15.6's at the track. Im not all about drag racing and plan to do some autoX and track racig. So I am thinking of getting a JDM GSR complete engine swap, 2.5" header, skunk2 stage 2 cams, skunk2 cam gears, VAFC, valvsprings/retainers. VIS CF hood, VIS carbon lip, and take my ITR wing off and shavethetrunk.
Please tell me any suggestions you might have on this set up. Keep inmind I don't want to go forced induction. I just want a high 14 second car. that can auto X and roadrace. Thanks

I would go with the JRSC if you are going to autox. Your suspension set up sounds good. You will have a decently quick car with the JRSC plus you will save a couple thousand instead of spending a couple more thousand to do the swap.
I believe that the JRSC charger for the LS used the same as the SOHC charger and doesn't make that much power at all.
I'm guessing you have a GSR, with a JRSC tuned with decent bolts on's such as a Kamakazie header and nice flowing exhuast and of course tuning (which is key) you would have a low 14/high 13 second GSR. Plus power ready whenever you press the gas down.
BTW, I left out little things your may need for the JRSC like an FPR,FP. I'm sure someone could chime in for me.

I have an LS not a GSR. By doing a JDM ITR swap with a mild cam set up I a keeping reliabilty in the picture. Building up a complete turbo kit with all the essentials like hondata, tuning, proper fuel managment, built motor and proper installation is going to cost upwards of 5K done properly and to my likeing. I live in AZ where the 115 degree days aren't to turbo friendly. Doing a JDM swap will cost me 2,200 (after selling my engine) cams/cam gears/ springs/retainers/vafc will cost me another 1,300. the header will cost around 300 so for $3,800. So this route is cheaper and by far a lot more matiance frindly. Its like a stock JDM integra with cams in it. Having a turbo set up in my car is not necessarily the best idea for auto X and track racing due to the turbo having to spool which will mean I will be in and out of boost while cornering. I have my mind set on a a mild all motor set up so I don't have to matain my car as mch and its a little bit more cost efficent for me.

Then again, 95% of the people who yell "go turbo" will never turbo their car while they have it.
The set up you mentioned will be good for your needs. oem reliability and extra power.

I'm not sure, but I believe reading " I plan to do auto x and track racing". Don't you think that wing might be doing something for you if you are actually racing the car?

why do people think that turbo isnt for autoXing at all? the people that usually say that is usually that people that have a turbo car built for drag only or cant drive whats so ever...i autoX my 4dr GSR turbo all the time... and whats so not reliable about turbo? all that you really need to check is your oil level .. and thats something you do with a car with out a turbo anyways...and the heat of AZ isnt gonna affect it much if you have a good cooling system like a oil cooler and cooler thermostat and fan switch.. i have all those and yes i have taken my integra to AZ to visit family and the heat didnt bother my car at all.. had more affect on my AC then anything ..

All the tracks in Arizona have top speeds of well over 80mph, so yes the wing would make a difference. Right now I don't have a wing on my Del Sol and I get it very light under hard braking when I am on the track. I will be putting a wing on as soon as I have more money.
