Just wondering how one goes about putting a K&N filter on the stock filter elbow for an ITR intake ?. Do you basically tear the stock filter apart and just use the plastic parts of the stock filter ?. So the K&N filter would mount to the thin plastic part , it looks kind of thin to me if that is where the filter would mount. Lastly , could someone list the K&N filter part number that is to be used, I remember it is an RU number of some sort. thanks for any help and info.
