Needless to say...its been one eventful weekend (and here are the pictures to prove it! )

Then on friday we were gonna make a trip to the southside but ran into a slight destraction at a gasstation :






A full track prepped GT40! I almost needed a new pair of pants when I heard it pull in. The owner was completely cool - he had just gotten back from Road Atlanta. His usual tow truck had broken down and he was trying to make it home. With 13:1 compression and weighing in at approx. 19XX lbs it got 1.3mpg on (2) 6 gallon tanks, so he was forced to stop every exit or so to refill. It was craziness - definitly not somehting you see pull into a BP everyday. Oh yeah, he even let us sit in it - surprisingly comfy.

 

A new pair of under-roos and 5 pictures later...we finally made it to the southside to kick it with some We-todds (Len, Dan, Lance, and Ben).

Saturday was track day it seems - so we made our way to reynolds...


Hype ARRRRR:








We went ahead and ran Len over - it was for the best I think... [j/k dude])


While Len was buried under the R we figured there was more stuntin' to be had:




Out of 2 runs and it being my first time at the track I pulled a 14.1@98mph with a 2.19 60ft on street tires (PP S-03s). All that considering I'm lacking an intercooler, tuning (I'm on the blue box right now ), and the ability to launch my car - I'm content.

All in all, had a blast with all the we-todds and it was a great weekend. My whoring is done for this evening.

And oh yeah - Len's Hype R is sooo slow . (Post up those video clips mang!)

Its an internally stock LS with a Greddy 18G kit, stock downpipe, non-intercooled (but I ordered one from Tyrus on friday actually ), RC310's, Clutchmasters Stage 3 PP and Disk (But I have an ACT Extreme with a street disk in the basement that I will be swapping in soon), and oh yeah - I'm rockin' the blue box for the moment being. Sooo...its a piece to say the least.

 

Here's my 20 seconds run. I was later informed that when I was doing the burnout, I was burning out the clutch.

Then when I got to the line, the car bogged and didn't want to go. It died when I gave it gas. LoL. Still managed a 98 mph after the 60 ft though.

i spent all weekend trying to get my new techedge 2.0 to work. i'm now beginning to think there might be something wrong with it...what a wasted weekend for me.

Odd placement of that enormous intercooler on the NSX, but I guess it works...seems like it'd soak up a bunch of heat there...
