Default VAFC questions

Hey Guys,

had a couple of questions. Found a guy in my area that is selling a vafc. what should I be looking for when purchasing?
1. are all vafc's the same? (will it fit my 2001 GSR)

Looking at my set up, is a Apexi VAFC the right way to go?

cheers,

YV

They are all the same, so don't worry about that. It will work on your car. It will definitely help with your setup. I actually just installed one on my '01 GSR, so if you need some help let me know. I'm from Brampton, so we're not too far from one another.

there's a version 2 that costs more and has a few more features but has a different interface.

the version 1 would probably be cheaper now because of that, and it would suffice more than enough for your setup.

yes, a vafc will be beneficial to your setup. have you tuned your car yet? with those cams/cam gears you would see a ton of extra power at the dyno if you tuned the car.

VAFC will run on either obdI or II. Use the proper diagram from http://www.apexi-usa.com

Anyone have any idea of what the VTM wire is for?

Install went well, just need to recheck the throttle wire (not getting accurate readings). other than that, easy install!
