Crankshaft Pulley Fell off 6th gen accord *Help
Well on my friend's 4 cyl 6th Gen accord, his crankshaft pulley feel off taking the alternator and PS belts. Upon closer inspection, we discovered that the crankshaft bolt broke into two pieces. We had the car towed to his home and started working on it. We first drilled into the broken bolt and then used a reverse drill bit and luckly we got the broken bolt out!.
Here's the problem. On the crankshaft pulley, there is this one "pin" I believe it's called an alignment pin. Currently this pin cannot the slot so we can't put on the pullley. It seems to me that this pin was holding about three plates in place. We've gotten two of them aligned, however, we can't find the thrid plate so the entire pin will fit in. How can we get all three in place? Is it just going to be a guessing game?

if the keyway came out, it is very possible your crank pulley for your timing belt moved also,it is lined up and held in by that keyway. you may want to pull off the timing cover and make sure.
Yeah that's pretty much what has happened.
I'm trying to figure out how to realign it back into place.
Anybody know how to?

You'll probably have to pull off the lower cover.
