Looking for info on parts for a D16a6....I'm purchasing a 91 Civic Si and its got a blown motor. I want to bore out the motor and redo the internals, if thats not too horribly expensive, but I don't know where to turn. Please let me know if you have any info regarding this type of an operation, or if you have any suggestions on what I should do.

call your honda dealer and price out the parts you need. I think the stock rebuild parts are pretty cheap. Then you can decide if you want to do that or just buy a new motor.

I got the basic rebuild kit from http://www.importperformanceparts.net .
It came with everything and worked great for me at about 1/2 the price of OEM Honda parts.
