Problems with falken azenis
I was wondering if anyone is having problems with their falkens throwning up mad rocks, I know they are sticky tires but I don't want my car all chiped up. I just got them and they are not broken in they have like 10 miles on them. Does the rock throwing stop when they are worn in or does it get worse?
i just got mine and they have a about 10 miles on them to!!! i have had no rocks kick up on mine, they are great tires and barely spin compared to my kumho's when using the nitrous!!! great tire
I don't know but it seems like normal levels of rock and gravel. Nothing special on mine.
BTW how much you all paid for them?
I paid 270.00 mounted and balanced with new valve stems.
On one of those Rim mounting machines were the arms do not touch your rim's lip at all.

yea mine pic up rocks and little gravel and stuff like that all the time, i dont think you should be too worried about your paint. my paint has not shown any extra wear and tear on it. i paid 85 a piece installed with everything. i love my azenis.
i could hear the rocks and stuff hitting in the rear right away, but it doesn.t sound bad or anything necessarily abnormal or harmful so im not worried. also, i have not gotten any scratches or anything on the fenders since getting the tires.

From my experience they kick up rocks for about 100 miles or so. I was kindof worried about chipping too but they get better after you get them broken in. So i suggest, give them some time and see if it gets better.
All tires pic up some rocks, the difference is that the azenis are an extra soft compound so the rocks stick to the tire until they travel for a fraction of a second and then scratch the body panels. The thing Ive learned is not do to stupid **** on pebbly roads and try not to go too fast around turns where I know there could be road debris.
Other than that, these tires are GOD!

I think one thing you have to consider is when you get new wheels/tires that you definitely hear what hits the bottom of your car or whatever louder than before. I can hear rocks hitting the bottom of the car a lot louder now that i have my 17" wheels with Falkens on them.
