Default b16 auto question...

k guys ive been searching on how to tell the difference between an auto and manuel b16. i read about the valve springs and cams being different but i was gettin mixed answers on that. something about the autos having only a single valve spring on the intake side?? i was just lookin for a correct straight answer on this once and for all and i figure you are the guys to help me out. the engine i got is a 1million series with a j1 tranny and mugen chipped ecu (pr3) the reason i was wondering is because if i did have an auto then would it be hurting the engine to rev it to 8000 or 8200?? i wouldnt wanna uneccessarily hurt my engine ya know. or would it totally just not make power up there? sorry so long but thanks in advance guys.
