Any downside to mixing/matching cams?
yea i mean, the exhaust skunk 2 stage 1 cam is compareable to the type r exhaust cam:
skunk2 stage1 : 10.9 mm, duration 249 @ 1m
ITR/CTR : 10.5 mm, duration - 235 @ 1mm
the only other thing that it could possibly be compareable is
JUN II exhaust : 10.9 mm, duration - 265.3 @ 1mm
here is the chart i am using:

ive never heard of using a stock honda intake cam with an aftermarket exaust, but about 2 years ago on this board, half assing it by using a jun2 intake and stock itr exaust was popular
I posted a thread in the tech forum asking about witch cam up grade would be better intake vrs exhaust.... So far noone has replied but me to ask people voting to tell why they voted that way.. [URLhttps://honda-tech.com/zerothread?id=618585][/URL]
Upgrading the intake cam is more benefitial. You can swap out for a bigger exhaust cam that help air flows out of the cylinder, but you're not gonna gain much power because the amount of air going in is almost the same.
