Most likely the rings were worn. The weakest link in these motors are the rings. Mine started going after 50,000 miles. After lots of abuse they simply don't seal and you start getting blowby.

 

There was nothing wrong with the motor, I just wanted it faster.

 

So was the engine rebuilt to stock specs? If not, what parts were used?

 

does autozone make a rebuild kit for the ITR yet? That would be hella sweet and cheap.

 

THIS IS WHAT MY INVOICE SAYS:

does all this run on CA's new 91 octane pump gas?

 

Thats why i change back to the type r pistons instead of the CTR pistons because they told me to run higher octain gas. So now i do run 91 octain and it runs fine.

 

just curious what did they charge you for all that. That's a nice setup. need to lower your price though.

No Kidding!!! What's going on out there to cause this all of a sudden? I can remember a time when you couldn't find one for sale anywhere?

 

They're selling probably cause they fear it may be stolen! LOL.

My guess is these people can't afford the insurance along with the payments per month.

 

I'm not worried that it would be stolen or I can't afford the insurance,
I just want the new 5 speed is300 lexus.
I love my type R. This has been a decision for awhile and now I'm ready to sell. I'm probably going to cry when i do sell it.

 

Yeah...so many R's are being sold nowadays...I too thought about an IS300 but it's kinda played out...maybe when I'm older will I get one...Still young..wanna go fast and look good...Type R

 

dont get an is300. everybody and their mother has one of those. and please dont' get a yellow one either. they look live another damn civic si. bla. keep your R.

 

I need a luxury car now because i have a 8-9 sec. pro race car. Not a lot of people have is300's where I live.
