Block Guard or Sleeved block for B18

I heard block guard do not last and sleeving is the way to go. I dont have the money right now to do sleeves. I was wondering is a block guard good for 8-15 psi of boost on a LS. How long will it last?

Well there is a big difference between 8 and 15psi, anyway I would sleeve the block if I had the money
