270 whp H22???
i dont know anything about preludes, so here goes...
a friend of mine says he will get the following:
- injen cai
- skunk2 manifold
- skunk2 cams (not sure how aggressive)
- cam gears
- custom 2 1/2" exhaust
- mugen headers
whats an estimated whp this will probably get him?
also, if he is BSing out his a**, how much work do you have to do to get a h22 in the 270 whp range all motor(if possible)?

270 WHP All Motor on an H22? If your lucky it might could be done in a fully race prepped engine (not streetable). Your friend "might" make 180-200 WHP with those mods.
And considering the skunk2 manifold doesn't exist it may make things tougher...
he doesn't mention pistons...so with 10:1 compression I SERIOUSLY doubt he could hit 200whp
I make 217/171 and these are all the mods I needed...sure i can do some more stuff, but it's not like 5 things like your buddy said

I think L'Natural was making somewhere around 250-260 whp and it was the fastest all motor h22 for a while and it had crazy compression and more custom work than you can shake a stick at.
Joel, with what you've already done, how much could you gain from getting a different exhaust setup, say an SMSP or Mugen header, and similar exhaust?

Well my exhaust is 2.25" according to bidden and I have a greddy header...
A guy on PO.com has developed a 4-1 header for the H22a that fits a prelude..he's doing a stock test tomorrow and I'll be doing a built test next week, maybe a drag run or 2 if I can find some slicks. Should be fun...what I really need is header and INtae manifold..the exhaust itself is okay I think.
