rex wont start! I NEED SERIOUS HELP!
alrite heres a semi long story short. i start my car to back down my driveway to move my car, bring it back up to another spot. notice some white smoke had come outta my exaust, but everything was fine. come out 4 hours later to leave and my car wont start! it turns and tries to but it wont get going. i try and try, and then start to smell fuel in my engine bay.
-no fuel leaking
-i have spark
-i checked the timing like a gazillion times, its right.
-when i turn the key to spot 2, i can hear my fuel pump come on (or some weird nose that i think is my fuel pump)
WHAT ELSE?? what coudl it be. i have an 88 hf with a d16a6 in it from a 90 crx si. someone please help me.

might have blown your head gasket and there is not enough compression in your motor to start thus the white smoke (antifreeze) and the unburnt fuel smell
if it was ur head gasket, there might be oil though, i think. mines done that **** to, but only when i run it and i force it to hard. Maybe theres a relationship. sorry, wish i could be more help.

Unlikely tho, he'd be hearing it struggle.
Dude, more info is needed. How do you know you are getting spark and fuel?
Where did you check?
I'd tend to say the car is flooded with the symptoms you are giving...but thats odd for an FI car. By now I assume the car has had time to rest (fuel evap), check if it works now.
Another option is floor the gas whil starting the car, it should cause the ECU to not fire the injectors, which will thin out the mixture in the engine. (Or so I've been told....never verified it)
