What Oil Filter do you use?
I used Mobil 1's and most recently AMSOIL's.
From the research I've done they are 2 of the best that I can think of off the top of my head.
Supposedly the Mobil 1 and even moreso the AMSOIL can filter out impurities down to an even smaller micron level than MOST other filters on the market.
They are supposed to be much better than Fram but thats just my opinion from what I've read/heard. NTPOG did a nice write-up.
Oh and by the way the Amsoil seems to have a greater oil capacity than the average filter on the market.
I might be going to conventional oil soon due to a HUGE oil burning problem - not sure if that changes anything as far as filter goes but I think I will stick w/Mobil 1 or AMSOIL.
PS: I'm pretty sure you can get the Mobil 1 or AMSOIL for about $10 too.

every time i've used synthetic i've been 1 or more quarts low after 2k miles. using synthetic is the only time my oil light has come on when i didn't have a puncture in my oil pan. i'm now using conventional oil only and haven't ran low since then.

Same here with Mobil 1.

In general OEM Honda IS the way to go. But I'm pretty sure the Mobil 1 and AMSOIL filters are made of beter materials...filter out smaller particals and have greater oil capacity (I'm sure of the capacity for the AMSOIL one anyway.
Again the NTPOG write-up discusses this.
Oh and by the way you can get an STP oil filter for like $3 bucks (??) and its made by the same people that make the Mobil 1 filer and its almost idential in construction etc...I think the Mobil 1 may have slightly diff. and maybe better filter element/material.
So the STP is the best buy!

DEL:
Oh yeah and I lose crazy amounts of synthetic oil too so I will prob go to convential but I'm having a hard time making myself
Might just keep adding expensive synthetic oil...not sure... I lose 2-3qts easy in 2000 miles too.

I've heard many stories of Fram filters comin apart in hi-po motors, and I've also seen many hi-po motors run STP filters for a long time and have no issues...
So I use STP! For $3 a pop, it can't be beat!

OEM!
but someone said that they are made now by fram
I tried the K&N and really liked the 19mm nut welded on it so it could be tightened and removed with a wrench... but felt the $10 price tag was too much

I highly suggest reading this brand new ntpog article:

with Red Line 5W30!
with Red Line 5W30!
I just changed my oil for the first time and used a Purolator PureOne filter with Mobil 1 5W30 oil. I just bought my Prelude Si used with 110K miles. From what I've heard, the PureOne filter is a good filter for a decent price. I used to use K&N filters, but $10 a pop seems pricey to me.
I don't know about the Fram X2, but from everything I've read, stay awway from Fram filters. They are poorly constructed in general. The other think I've heard is that you can't go wrong with stock filters.
