replacement parts brands...!?
Hey all,
somebody, sometime may have talked about this, but theres no finding it in the search mode, so here goes. The next stop on my list of things to do for the old rex is going through my brakes and replacing this and that (the car sat for a long time, needs lots of TLC). Has anybody had experience with different replacement parts brands, as far as brakes goes? All of these parts may be replaced: rotors, drums, wheel cylinders, hardware, etc. It seems the major brands i can find are: Tru - Torque, Bendix, Raybestos, Beck/Arnley, etc. Keep in mind i'm on an autoparts store budget... just wanting to know if there are certain brands to stay away from, etc. some parts cost twice as much from, say, bendix, than from raybestos.
From my personal experience, bendix makes lots of good stuff, but that was for my 1947 ****** jeep.... so in need of some opinions here.
thanks!
jon

In my personal experience I've only ever used OEM honda parts. On the rare occassions when I was broke and didn't ,it bit me in the ***. Stay OEM and pay the $$$. Just my.02 cents
