Heavy idling while AC is on?

When I am in neutral and my AC is on, my car idles pretty hard. Can I somehow speed up the idle so that it doesn't shake as much/not at all? Thanks

I don't know if there is a way to have it idle higher while AC is on other than stepping on the gas a little. There is nothing wrong with it idling a little rougher with the AC on. The reason it is, is because it takes a fair amount of power to run the compressor. I have heard it is up to 15HP but I don't know if I believe it's that much.
