Default Hiccup in VTEC

I noticed it once today...and once a few days ago. When I am getting on the car in VTEC I seem to get a little hesitation (hiccup) around 7000 rpm. This does not happen all the time, actually quite infrequently. Any ideas?

Have you checked your oil level? Sounds like oil starvation to the VTEC system.

Keep a spare quart or two handy, and check the level regularly (especially after hard driving). Glad it was easy to fix tho.

Fantastic diagnosis, Aleph. You must be a mechanic. I think I'm going to look you up whenever I have problems with my R.
