The moderators of the Prelude forum have been encouraged by the administration to try to get the tech content as prevalent as possible. We will try our best. But we are encouraging all of you to try to keep the Prelude Forum as tech related as possible as well. Please keep Off Topic discussion to a minimum. Remember we have a General Discussion and Debate forum for intelligent off topic subjects.


1) Classifieds: Classified threads of any kind will belong in the FS and WTB thread at the top of the forum. If you are advertising a prelude for sale, please adhere to the Classifieds forum rules for selling cars which can be found here: https://honda-tech.com/zeroforu...42#20
DO NOT try to sell products here, you must be a sponsor of Honda-Tech to sell merchandise and parts here, we do not offer free advertising space for businesses.


2) Search Feature: Topics, espeically basic ones, get covered frequently. We realize the search function is not perfect, but nothing prevents you from scrolling back to pages from the past. It is an excellent way to research. If you know your question is a newbie question then look around first! We are all here to help each other, but you must help yourself first. Look in this thread in the future for links to common, helpful threads.

3) Pictures and Images: Topics with pictures of your car should hopefully have some tech-related info in them. We have seen some great tech info come from threads that had nothing more than pics of someone’s car and another member asked how he or she did a certain thing to the car. Threads with nothing more than look at my new wheels are just fine, but they belong in the appearance forum, not this forum. We are lenient about this to an extent because we feel like we are all a community here, and we like to see what we all do with our cars - as long as you include some sort of tech info you should be fine.

4) Female Members: This is NOT some sort of dating service nor is it a place to post pics of women. This is also not a place to harass our female members. Please treat them with the respect they deserve.

5) E-racing This is NOT an e-racing forum. Threads asking who would win or what will my car run if... will be deleted immediately.

6)Respecting other members: This is NOT a forum for bashing newbies so any threads and/or with the sole purpose of asking why are newbies stupid? will be deleted.

7) Tone and Inflection: The disrespectfulness to others in this forum will not be tolerated. IF YOU HAVE NOTHING CONSTRUCTIVE TO OFFER IN THE DISCUSSION THEN SIMPLY DO NOT POST.

8) Evaluation: This is NOT a place for asking what is or is not ricey. There will be no more look at this rice crap in the forum. All it is is a chance for people to post ***** and it accomplishes nothing more than making GOOD topics sink to the bottom of the heap.

9) Post Whoring: There will be no post-whoring. If there is a topic that you do not like then simply IM one of us and as soon as I see it it will be gone. There is no need for 25 members to post this is gay or IBTL!

10) Thread Titles:
a) Vague titles to threads will not be tolerated - PLEASE MAKE THE TITLE TO YOUR TOPICS VERY CLEAR AND TO THE POINT. Not only will it help to get better attention but it will also help people who are new and searching for info. Titles with just Question here... or who knows... probably won't garner enough interest from the people who might actually be best to answer your question. I see these type of threads sink rapidly and then the thread starter rips on H-T for sucking because nobody answered their question.

b) Please include the year and trim of your Prelude so that questions can be answered as completely as possible. Please also try to include as many details to help your question get answered as possible. An example of this would be: "What are good tires for my prelude?" the preferred way to ask this question would have been: "I have a 95 prelude Si with OEM Honda 15x6 wheels, I am looking for a good street tire that is also good in the rain, my budget is $xxx, what tires do you guys use and recommend?"

11)Trial Users Your Trial period will last approximately 14 days. It changes periodically, but its never more than a month.

hey nick, im not sure if you have the power to help me with this or not, but i was changing somthing in my settings on this site, i was entering a new email and bumped enter before it was complete and then it changed my password and mailed it to mu new email, wich was not right.. can i get my user account back? just delete this post if you can help and i didnt know where else to ask.

sorry, trail user cant use PM ing i got it but couldnt reply, i use this name and gimpy cause i cant post more than 5 a day... which is why i miss my old user name. anyways i was changing my password from the defualt one and i accidently changed my email to one i dont have.. my user id was summerDumpster and my email is xclbx@comcast.net if you can reset my password and send it to me that would be great.

If you guys are getting messages about your posts being modified or deleted it is because I am sifting through the Stats/Picture/For Sale threads and making sure everything meets the rules set forth for each thread.

As far as the Picture thread goes, a lot of you have asked questions such as 'what lip is that' and etc. I have added in the users answers to the original post with the picture and deleted all of the questions.

If you can in the future give a brief synopsis of some of the components you have that people might ask about.
